Where are you from?
I was born and brought up in Madrid, which is the capital city of Spain. It´s considered to be a megacity taking into account the population and the variety of cultures you can see here.
What do Young people do in their free time in your town?
There´s a wide variety of activities that young people can do in my city. Either they are keen on sports, technology, arts or literature they can choose from hundreds of clubs, youth centres, academies and sports halls. Yet, I have to admit that most of young people would rather go to a shopping centre to meet their friends and use the free WiFi or to the cinema to be up to date with the latest films.
Do you like doing sports?
Well, I´m not really that keen on doing sports. I usually go to the gym 3 times per week, but it´s not because I enjoy it if not because it´s necessary to live a healthy life. In the past I used to play professional basketball, but that´s history now because I don´t have enough time and a team to practice with.
Une question qui commence par : ¨Tell us about..¨ vous donne l’occasion de parler beaucoup, alors profitez-en si vous avez cette opportunité.
Tell us a little about your family.
Fortunately, I have an amazing family. I have 2 brothers and one sister and my parents are incredibly communicative and sociable. We enjoy spending time together, especially at the weekend when we do together different activities like going fishing or having a picnic or a barbecue. We get on like a house on fire and for me they are the most important in the world.
Tell us about something you really enjoyed doing recently.
I´m glad you asked me that. Last weekend I visited with my friends one of the most beautiful places in the world, which is Valencia. On Saturday morning we gathered to have a coffee and while we were talking we realized it´d been a long time since we had last been to the beach. Therefore, we took our wallets and towels and started our trip to Valencia. We decided to go there because it´s not too far from Madrid, in order to avoid long drives. When we got there, the sun was shining and the breeze was amazing. To cut a long story short, we sunbathed, went sightseeing, ate the famous Paella Valenciana and enjoyed our time together.
What job would you like to do in the future?
I would very much enjoy working in a zoo, looking after animals. I consider it to be my dream job, because I could be in touch with all kinds of animals, take care of them and do my best to make them feel happy even though they aren´t in their natural habitat. Actually, in September I´m going to apply for vacancies in zoos all over the world.
What place would you like to visit?
I would like to visit Mongolia because I think this country is a completely different world from the one we are used to. Their clothes, houses, customs and landscapes are simply amazing. Besides this, I´ve recently seen a great documentary about their cuisine and it made me want even more to visit this place. European people do not know a lot about this culture and I strongly believe that it should be widely promoted all over the world as a touristy destination.
